Prior and during the event, Destination Europe was promoted to the general public in Jakarta through a variety of sources and channels

  • Billboards at strategic places in town, at the airport and at the toll road
  • Advertisements in newspaper and magazines
  • Flyers and free entry cards distributed at European embassies and European restaurants
  • Media engagement: bloggers meeting, press conference, radio talk show and invitation of media to the event
  • Social media: Themed videos featuring EU ambassadors on YouTube and broadcasted on facebook, twitter photo competition
  • Giant banner in front of the venue area, hundreds of hanging banners, mobile-human posters at the Sunday pedestrian alley in the centre of Jakarta (Jl. Sudirman)
